HOW TO READ A TESTING DOCUMENT
A COA is useful, but it is not the whole story.
Start by checking that the product name and lot number match what you are reviewing. Look for the testing date, the laboratory, the methods used, and the results reported.
Identity asks, “Is this the named material?” Purity asks, “How much of the tested sample matches it?” Quantity asks, “How much was measured?” These are related questions, but they are not interchangeable.
A testing document does not prove that a product is safe, effective, sterile, or appropriate for personal use unless those specific questions were examined with suitable methods. If something is unclear, ask.
